At New Branches School we are privileged to accept students into our school from anywhere in the state of Michigan. We welcome families from all walks of life and value the diversity we have in our community.
The application process is as follows:
New Branches Public School Academy is required by law to hold a lottery selection drawing for available positions when applications exceed the number of openings available.
However once a student is enrolled in our school they do not have to participate in the lottery again. Also, siblings of current students are given preference to open positions and are also omitted from the lottery system.
Applications are due into the office by April 15th of the school year previous to anticipated enrollment. |
The lottery selection drawing will take place on the last Thursday of April each year. |
Students involved in the lottery process will either be placed into a classroom or on a waiting list based on the lottery. |
Applications can be accessed from our website by clicking on Enrollment Application or you may call or stop by our school to receive one. |
If you are applying during a current school year please call the school at (616) 243-6221 to find out about openings and the application process. |
